Carlar Blackman, Administrative Director, has worked with the Rome Foundation since it’s early development 1996. Ms. Blackman has coordinated the administration of Rome III, was Managing Editor of the Rome III book, and continues to provide direct support to the President and the Board of Directors. Ms. Blackman manages all current Rome Foundation projects, including the working teams and slide set project committees, and directs development of the Rome Foundation website. She previously served as Executive Director of the Functional Brain Gut Research Group (1994-2003) and worked at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1994-2003) as a Grants Administrator, Project Manager and Research Associate.
